HYMN FOR HER
Lucy Tight & Wayne Waxing are “Hymn For Her”, a band that hails from anywhere they can park their trailer. H4H live, tour and record in their 16 foot, 1961 Bambi Airstream (comes with dog and baby). Their new summer release 2010, ‘Lucy & Wayne and THE AMAIRICAN STREAM‘ was partly recorded at our own 1521 Hancock. Armed with 2 bullet mics, a three-stringed broom handle/cigar box, banjo, dobro, bass drum, hi-hat, and harp, this ‘lil duo causes massive earthquakes wherever they play. ERIKA FULK
Erika Fulk grew up in California, but moved around a lot as a child, and didn’t really call anywhere home until moving to the city of Detroit in 2006. Since moving to the city she has graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelors in Fine Art with concentrations in Photography and Printmaking, and has shown work in art galleries all over the Metro Detroit area, as well as out of the state and in Italy. She spends her time trying to find the moments in everyday life that most people overlook, and tries to capture those moments into something people will cherish looking back on. VANESSA MILLER
Vanessa is a photographer who lives in Woodbridge. In her own words: “Photography is everything to me. I am inspired by the streets. I live life with my eyes and heart open… I am lucky to have been documenting it so fully.”

CHRIS MASTERS AND THE MACK AVENUE DANCE COMPANY
Chris Masters has spent the past five years splitting his time in New York working as a free lance choreographer, as Artistic Director for Mack Avenue Dance Company, and as Managing Director for a currency trading firm, and has now relocated back to his home in Detroit.
Chris has served on the faculties of the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, Wayne State University, the American College Dance Festival, and the American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive. His work has been presented in New York City and Brazil, and has performed with Bill Young/Colleen Thomas and Dancers in New York, Detroit Dance Collective in Detroit, and CounterGroove Dance Company in Chicago.
MELISSA SHERWOOD
Melissa grew up in Connecticut and is a graduate of Pratt Art Institute in New York City. On barely more than a whim, she relocated to Detroit in 2008, settling in Woodbridge. She works as a freelance graphic+web designer, encouraging a barter and trade business model, especially with her Detroit clients. Click here to view her portfolio.

THE TRUMBULLPLEX
The Trumbullplex is an anarchist housing collective and showspace at 4210 Trumbull in the Woodbridge neighborhood of Detroit, USA. It was created in 1993 when members of the collective established the nonprofit corporation Wayne Association of Collective Housing and purchased the property, two Victorian houses on either side of a single-story art space.
THE CONTEMPORARY ART INSTITUTE OF DETROIT
Established on Valentine’s Day 1979, the Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit is a community based non-profit organization. CAID fosters and promotes the essential link between contemporary arts and contemporary society through its exhibitions, performances, critical and public discourse, and the funding of contemporary arts and art related activities.
